Westminster Church

Westminster Presbyterian Church is one of our neighborhood’s most prominent features. Located at 8200 Devonshire, it is probably best known for Sunday morning worship services but also offers a variety of educational services and social activities. Our neighbors also use it as a popular polling place when elections are held, meet there for National Night Out, enjoy 4th of July celebrations, and assemble there regularly for Neighborhood Association meetings.

Westminster invites Devonshire neighborhood residents to share their facility. In addition to attending worship services and educational programs, we are invited to use their playground facility. Please note, the playground is reserved for use by their school children until 2pm weekdays. We are welcome to use it late afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Also, Westminster invites Devonshire families to enjoy the large field behind the church. Please pick up your trash and take it with you when you leave.

Pets are welcome in the field, but only when accompanied by responsible owners. This means you are required to bring your own bags and clean up after your pet. Furthermore, whatever you pick up, you must remove from church property. The Devonshire Neighborhood Association maintains a dispenser near the shed if you need an extra bag.
