The prime suspect in our long string of vehicle burglaries was arrested in Devonshire on May 31, Saturday, at 3:30am.  Our overnight patrol officer saw the suspect in our neighborhood and began chasing him on foot.  The suspect was booked on charges of evading arrest and for an outstanding warrant for a vehicle burglary previously committed in our neighborhood.

Two items worth noting here:

1) The suspect had a warrant for his arrest because a previous crime he committed in our neighborhood was reported to the police.
Please report all criminal activity to the police.

2) Your membership dues allow us to hire these police officers to patrol our neighborhood after their regular duty shift.  This arrest was made because we paid a police officer to be here.  The money we pay the police officers comes from the dues you pay us.
Please pay your dues!

Subject: Trade in your gas lawn mower for an electric one

The Office of Environmental Quality is working on a new air quality program that focuses on reducing emissions from lawnmowers.  According to the TCEQ, the engines in gas-powered lawn equipment pollute more than car engines!  This program allows Dallas residents to trade-in their gas mowers for electric mowers at a 50% discount.

The event takes place Saturday, June 21, 9am-3pm, Dallas City Hall.
