Why join the Devonshire Neighborhood Association (DNA)? The primary benefit of DNA is to provide security for our neighborhood.

The Devonshire Neighborhood Association is a non-profit, volunteer run group representing the security needs and concerns of the Devonshire Community.

Expanded Neighborhood Patrol is a program authorized by the Dallas Police Department in which the Devonshire Neighborhood Association (DNA) hires armed and uniformed off-duty police officers to patrol our neighborhood.  Dallas Police presence in Devonshire not only deters crime but also provides significantly reduced police response times should a crime occur.

To maintain and grow our outstanding Devonshire Patrol program, we ask all our neighbors in Devonshire to do their part by becoming active DNA members.  DNA membership dues and Extra Patrol Dollar contributions directly affect the number of hours the Dallas Police are patrolling our neighborhood.

The majority of our membership dues fund our off-duty Dallas police patrol; so the higher the membership, the more hourly coverage we can afford.
